I began my teaching journey February 1^st. 2024.

I have been with United Independent School District for 8 years.

This Fall Semester of 2024 I am currently teaching Securities & Investments and Accounting 1 classes.

I have 14+ years of experience in Accounting (Payroll, Income Tax preparation, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, Data Entry), Human Resources and Transportation (Shipping/Receiving, Warehousing, Inventory, etc).

I am able to bring real-life examples into the classroom in order for my students to get a feel of what is out in the real world.

I have also worked in the school setting for over 3 years as a Testing Clerk.

I have two Shih-Tzu dogs named Nugget and Teddy.

I knit and embroider. I’ve done it since I was a little girl. I also like to practice piano and guitar.

I like to read and travel when I am not teaching. I have been to various countries and plan on visiting even more in the future.
