Hello Students and Parents, 

My name is Angelica Venegas, and I am an English teacher at United South High School. I have been at South for five years; however, I have been an English teacher since 2007. My goal is to create lifelong learners that love reading and writing. 

Fall 2024 Semester: In an effort to help students become familiar with the STAAR Redesign, my spring classes will be English II and English II STAAR. The classes are designed to help students strengthen their reading and writing skills and boost their confidence so that they have every possible chance for success on STAAR. As a team, we hope to enrich students learning through cultural literacy and prepare them for college and the real world.
