WELCOME TO SCIENCE

The goal of physics is to understand the world around us and use different tools and concepts to predict its behavior. Physics principles are applied in our daily life, from structural design to a simple pulley or craw bar. The objective of this course is to introduce students the basic math tools used in physics as well as its basic concepts:  measurements, motion in one and two dimensions, vectors, forces, work and energy, conservation of momentum, simple harmonic motion, optics and waves, electromagnetism and introduction to quantum mechanics.
