Military Families

Mission Statement
We recognize that school-age dependents of military personnel face numerous transitions during their formative years that may pose challenges to their learning and achievement.
In recognition of those challenges and the importance of military families to our community, USHS is heavily invested in supporting our military-connected students and their families.
Campus Military Liason
The USHS Military Liaison’s role is to:
- Help understand the challenges military families face
- Inform parents about local school policies
- Give families information about graduation requirements, extracurricular activities, scholarship opportunities, and other school based resources.
- Conduct workshops to help parents navigate education transition and advocate for their children
- Providing an array of resources that benefit military youth and improve school experiences.
